Never throw a paper airplane toward anyone unless they are expecting it. If you absolutely must, though, be sure to select a design with a soft or blunt nose. You may want to opt for protective eyewear.

Be especially careful about streets, sidewalks, etc. Watch where you're going if chasing the planes.

Always pick up your airplanes when done flying (unless they have landed somewhere difficult or dangerous to retrieve from) and keep, recycle, or throw them out as you wish.
